| | When it comes to the happiness, health and safety of our children, I think that all parents would agree that only the very best will do. The concept of travelling with children came to me as I set about packing and unpacking and packing again all the paraphernalia I thought we needed to keep our son Rory happy during a forthcoming and much needed holiday.
Once we arrived home again after a stressful week, having established that I'd packed too much and discovered that half the products and equipment I'd taken for Rory were either impractical, inconvenient or not required in the first place I decided to set about doing something about it before our next trip. Why can't parents have more enjoyable trips and holidays with their babies and children? Help was obviously required but I could find very little and so travelling with children was born and is growing steadily.

Wherever we now go our lives are enhanced watching Rory discover new horizons, new friends and new lifestyles. We have many fond memories; whether it's of Rory's delight at chasing pigeons outside Hereford Cathedral, his endless smiles and giggling repartee with the waitresses in Brittany, his excitement at the waves and paddling for the first time in the sea at Cala Esmeralda, or his looks of wonderment at a Zulu Sangoma in Kwazulu-Natal South Africa.
The strategies and solutions that are presented on this site are based on the experiences of my family, and those of our extended family and friends without whose help this would not have been possible. As the issues are never the same from one family to the next and are usually not even the same from one trip to the next we welcome you and your families input to our site. We have been online since 2001 providing parents, carers, childminders, nannies, schools, midwives, health visitors etc etc useful information and fantastic products.
Our new site is even easier to use, has even more tried and tested products (We don't sell anything that hasn't passed our testers!) and contains even more help for those travelling with babies and children. Due to our success over the years we have also increased the age range so we now cater for boys and girls from newborn to 14 years.
