The Wrapper is an absolute must-have! This all-in-one wrap-cape and play-mat is designed for children from 0-3 years old (the Wrapper from 0-9 months old, and the play-mat, blanket or cuddly toy up to 3 years).

Using a unique Velcro wrapping system, the very youngest children can be wrapped up quickly and easily. Then by simply pulling a hidden cord, you can also form a hood to keep your baby's head warm. In this way, the wrap-cape is ideal for use in the carrycot, keeping your baby warm, cosy and safe while you are out and about.

The multifunctional play-mat measures 110x110cms. For older children, the play-mat can also be used as a little blanket to lie under or to cuddle.

The Wrapper is made from 100% polyester fleece which is a highly breathable material, supporting great air circulation and moisture regulation so you don’t have to worry about your child over heating.

Lodger was established in Amsterdam in 1999 by Angelique van Oostveen, a textile designer from the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.

Safe sleeping
Market tests have been carried out on blankets by The Dutch Consumer and Safety Institution in co-operation with The Institution of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and TNO-textile (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research of Textiles). Tests carried out included 'breathability' and insulation where the greatest danger is of overheating. These institutions concluded that synthetic (fleece) and cotton blankets are the safest for small children, in contrast to the traditionally held belief that natural materials such as wool are best.
