Severance If any parts of this agreement are found to be unenforceable, void, illegal or invalid they shall be severed from this agreement and all the other provisions shall remain in force in full both as to force and effect.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Personalised items
The processing of orders that have been personalised i.e. with a name, takes place almost immediately, cancelling the order once the process has started is just not possible. Due to the personalisation of the product, your right to return goods is only available when the goods have arrived in a poor or damaged state or the details such as the text, style and colours are not as specified on your order.
Gift Voucher terms and conditions
Whenever possible gift vouchers will be despatched on the day following the day the order was placed .
The customer must notify TWC of any discrepancy in a delivery as soon as possible but in any event within 3 days of the delivery of the vouchers.
Risk of loss, destruction or damage to the vouchers remains with TWC until delivery to the customers address or nominated address where upon risk shall pass to the customer or recipient.
Gift vouchers may not be redeemed for cash in any circumstances. Vouchers are not sold on a sale or return basis and no return will be permitted unless it can be demonstrated that TWC has been in error in fulfilling the customers order.
Vouchers must not be sold to any third party at a discount without the prior written approval of TWC.

The Bébétel is supplied with full easy-to-follow instructions. We strongly recommend that prior to using the Bébétel you read the instructions in full. The Bébétel is not a substitute for parental supervision. It is only designed to monitor sounds made by a child and to alert you of any such sound by telephone, whether land line, mobile or pager.
You must always ensure that you can attend to your child promptly after a telephone call or page is received.
Where the Bébétel is used in conjunction with a mobile telephone or pager its operation is dependent on such device being fully operational and network coverage being available at all times. In these cases the Bébétel is dependent on the performance of your relevant network provider and accordingly we cannot guarantee the performance of the same. The Bébétel functions within the technical constraints imposed by your mobile network provider. TWC Limited are not responsible for the failure of the Bébétel to connect to a mobile device by reason of a failure of network coverage by your network provider.
You will be solely liable for costs of calls to your mobile phone (via your service provider) or land line provider or other service provider to which you may connect the Bébétel. It is strongly recommended that you test the Bébétel within the environment in which you intend to use the same. Testing should thereafter be carried out if the unit has been dropped or has not been used for some time.

Choice of delivery address You can choose to receive your delivery at home, or at work, or you can send it as a gift somewhere else, however please make sure that the billing address you supply is where the card you are using is registered. Customers must note that alternative delivery orders may be held for extra security checks.
Please note: Our Couriers will try to deliver 2 times before the parcel is returned to travellingwithchildren and there is a £10 re-sending fee. If you reject the parcel there will be a charge of £20.70.
We can deliver to anywhere in the world EXCEPT THE USA OR CANADA. For information and delivery costs for International Orders please email Delivery Schedule For UK orders received before mid-day, your goods will normally be dispatched to your home or workplace the same day and should arrive within 4 days. but please allow 10 working days to avoid disappointment. For a £7.99 charge we can offer a guaranteed 2 days delivery and for a £14.99 charge we can offer guaranteed next day delivery if your order is received before mid-day Monday to Friday. We like to be as environmentally responsible as possible. With this in mind, we frequently use boxes and packaging obtained from other companies. Please do not expect funky travellingwithchildren packaging, this would be against our ethics.
Customs departments may randomly select packages, which they will open and check. This does not happen often but is something over which we have no control. Therefore, we cannot accept responsibility for any such action or any further legal concerns incurred by Customs inspection.

If you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations TWC Ltd shall refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. On exercising your right to cancel you shall be required to return the goods to TWC Ltd. Should you fail to return the goods, TWC Ltd reserves the right to deduct any direct costs incurred by us in retrieving the goods as a result of such failure.
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, TWC Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this case, TWC Ltd will inform you as soon as possible.
Upon receipt of your order you may be asked to sign for the goods received in good condition. If the package does not appear to be in good condition then please refuse the delivery. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery then please sign for the parcel as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter.

Back Orders We hold stock of most items, and hope to be able to despatch your entire order immediately. Occasionally, we may experience short delays in the restocking of some items and it may be necessary to send your order in more than one parcel. On these occasions you will only be charged postage once, and we will endeavour to keep you informed of the anticipated delivery date and offer you the option of cancelling if you would rather not wait. Your credit card will be charged the full amount at the time of placing your order, thus securing any back orders for you.

UK customers if you are buying for yourself or sending to friends and family in the European Union then Standard rated VAT will be charged on chargeable items
EU customers some goods we sell are zero rated (which means no VAT is charged) however, some goods do attract VAT and you will be charged the VAT on these items. If you are VAT registered in your EU country then we will NOT charge VAT. You must email us at euorder@travellingwithchildren.co.uk to give us your VAT registration number, name and address before you order

Returning goods is easy. Return your item in re-saleable condition within 28 days and we will provide an exchange or refund the cost of the item.
Please obtain proof of posting (free from your Post Office) when returning goods as we cannot provide a refund or exchange if we do not receive the original goods back. We regret that postage, packing and insurance are direct costs and cannot be refunded.
Faulty items

Exceptions
Return goods must be in a re-saleable condition, please note we are unable to accept returns of products that have been assembled or where a seal has been broken, toiletries, cds, ear plugs, goggles. All items returned must be unworn with all labels attached and within its original UNDAMAGED packaging.

Our lawyers' bit ! - Unwanted Goods - You have 14 days from the day after the date of the delivery of the goods to change your mind and return them to us unused, in which case we will provide a full refund less the direct cost to us of their return (unless this is seen as a breach of the Distance Selling Regulations) will include the direct cost to us of their carriage to you and their return
Faulty Goods - You have 14 days from the day after the date of delivery of the goods to notify us in writing of any faults. We understand this may mean you need to open the goods to discover this. Please return all packaging to us if at all possible as this will help us take the matter up with our suppliers. We will pay to you your reasonable costs in returning the items to us and in arranging for this to be done.
