| Car Travel and Pregnancy
Travelling by car can be exhausting, so limit your journeys and make sure you stop and get out of the car at regular 90 minute intervals so that you can stretch and walk around. We discovered so many beautiful little villages in the countryside of western France whilst I was expecting Rory, without my bump, we would have whizzed by and not taken the time to discover their delights. In the last three months of pregnancy avoid car journeys of longer than three hours.
Seat belts and Air bags
The best way to protect your baby is to protect yourself by always wearing a seat belt.
You should always wear a seat belt correctly to prevent harming your baby. Always fasten the seat belt so that the shoulder strap is between your breasts and lap belt lies snugly over your pelvis, which is exactly the way the Baby Safe Bump Belt More Information is designed to work. Never wear the belt across your bump during an accident the sudden jolt could cause the placenta to separate from the uterus.
